Job Description
We are searching for empathetic problem-solvers to join our team as Remote Patient Access Specialists. In this role, you will help patients quickly obtain and complete essential therapies while making healthcare providers more confident in prescribing. Location: 100% WFH-Remote Schedule: Any assigned 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (CST) Training: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (CST) for the first 4-6 weeks (Mandatory virtual attendance) Responsibilities Steward accounts from initial contact through final approval or denial. Create accurate referrals and applications in a centralized CRM platform. Enter detailed information into proprietary software while conversing on the phone. Place outbound calls for patient follow-ups and resolve journey status questions. Maintain empathy and quality while educating callers and interacting with healthcare providers. Skills & Qualifications High School education required; 2-4 years of customer-facing/call center experience preferred. Ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM while transcribing accurate notes. Experience with Microsoft products and video conferencing tools (Teams, Zoom). Independent worker with multitasking and time-management skills. Knowledge of insurance billing or general pharmacy operations is a plus.
