Job Description

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or 4+ years of additional IT experience in place of a degree
• At least 2 years of pertinent experience in cybersecurity operations
• IAT Level II certification such as GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security is essential
• Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience in network documentation including security compliance and patching
• Understanding of Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC) environments and commercial off-the-shelf technologies
• Knowledge of current COTS Cybersecurity technologies and database security
• Awareness of contemporary security principles, techniques, and protocols
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification is preferred
• An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required

• Providing detection, identification, and detailed reporting of potential cyber threats, breaches, and unusual activities
• Analyzing network traffic and system data to recognize abnormal behaviors and potential threats to resources
• Correlating security events and incidents using information gathered from various enterprise sources
• Conducting cyber incident triage to assess scope, urgency, and impact; identifying specific vulnerabilities and recommending quick remediation
• Documenting and tracking cyber incidents from the moment of detection to resolution
• Evaluating damage to data and infrastructure resulting from cyber incidents
• Performing trend analysis on cyber incidents and generating reports
• Working in a 24x7 shift environment with a 4/10 shift schedule
