Baxter seeks an experienced Senior Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across healthcare facilities while mentoring junior technicians. The role encompasses troubleshooting electrical faults, managing facility repairs, ensuring safety compliance, and responding to emergency maintenance requests.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and control systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, circuit breakers, panels, and equipment like motors and generators
• Lead and mentor facilities technicians; train new staff as assigned
• Conduct routine inspections, manage inventory of supplies, and maintain detailed maintenance records
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations

Requirements

• 5+ years facilities maintenance experience with electrical systems focus
• Minimum 5 years as licensed electrician with 2+ years in senior/lead role
• NYS Master Journeyman or equivalent electrical certification
• Strong knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or technical trade school preferred
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and fast-paced environments
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
