Job Description

Northern Sales Company, a trusted name in distribution for over 60 years, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Freeze Order Picker to join our Anchorage, AK team. This full-time position plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment for our customers. Working in a fast-paced, cold storage environment, you will be responsible for picking and preparing orders for next-day delivery, helping to maintain efficient warehouse operations. Responsibilities

• Operate an order picker forklift to accurately pull customer orders in a freezer warehouse environment (-10°F).
• Assist with replenishing warehouse stock and sorting customer orders for delivery as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Report any discrepancies or damaged merchandise to the Warehouse Operations Manager.
• Adapt to changing priorities and perform multiple tasks to meet daily deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts and working in warehouse distribution preferred; willingness to learn considered.
• Familiarity with forklift safety rules and guidelines, or willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a freezer environment (10°F).
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and sound judgment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adjust focus as needed.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Compensation

$18.00 per hour
