In the US, this opportunity is designed primarily for recent undergraduate talent, though candidates with relevant master’s or doctoral degrees may also be considered. If you have no more than three years of professional experience and fit this description, please apply for our rotational Swiss Re Graduate Programme, which starts Fall 2027.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in the complex, multifaceted, and fast-paced world of reinsurance and commercial insurance, rotate into different local teams, and receive tailored training to build your expertise. This is your opportunity to shape your career, help protect societies from the world’s most threatening hazards, and contribute to making the world more resilient.

About the Role:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Contribute to quarterly financial reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis under Group IFRS 17

  • Analyze financial results and performance drivers to support business and strategic decision-making

  • Gain exposure to global financial controls, governance frameworks, and compliance activities

  • Participate in transformation and automation initiatives that improve finance processes and reporting capabilities

  • Prepare presentations, analyses, and reporting materials for business stakeholders and senior management

  • Rotate through multiple Reporting & Controlling functions within the P&C Re Finance organization

  • Apply Excel, reporting tools, and analytical techniques to generate insights from data

  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that improve efficiency, transparency, and business outcomes

You'll follow a development track tailored to your strengths, with structured feedback and visibility across the global P&C Re Finance organization.

About the Team:

The P&C Re Finance organization provides the financial insights, reporting, and analysis that help drive strategic decisions and support sustainable business performance. As part of the Graduate Program, you will join a community of early-career talent and experienced professionals across Armonk, Bangalore, Singapore, Zurich, and other locations worldwide. You will work in a collaborative, high-performing environment that values curiosity, inclusion, and continuous learning.

About You:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Have demonstrated academic rigor through course selection and performance; a cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0 is expected

  • Have no more than three years of relevant professional experience

  • Strong analytical and Excel skills

  • Are intellectually curious about the Property & Casualty Reinsurance business, financial markets, and the global economy, with the drive to learn quickly, challenge your thinking, and apply new concepts to real work

  • Think analytically, solve complex problems, and enjoy working with data

  • Are self-reflective, seek feedback, and apply it to keep growing

  • Build strong relationships and adapt your style to collaborate effectively across teams and cultures

  • Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Take ownership and demonstrate integrity, sound judgment, and attention to detail

  • Experience with Power BI, SAP, or other analytics/reporting tools

  • Demonstrated leadership or project involvement in university or internships

  • Travel: Some occasional business travel may be required (0–10%)

The base salary for this role is $70,000. Candidates with advanced degrees may be eligible for a higher base compensation. Please note that the compensation details listed reflects the base salary only, and does not include short-and long-term incentives or other benefits offered.
