Position - Performance Test Engineer

Location - Toronto, ON (Onsite)

Employment Type - Full-Time Permanent

Experience Required - 8+ years

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in Performance Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with LoadRunner , including test script creation, execution, and maintenance.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end performance testing activities, including:
  • Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) gathering
  • Test strategy and test plan preparation
  • Performance test scripting
  • Test execution
  • Performance analysis and tuning
  • Test result reporting and stakeholder communication
• Hands-on experience with application performance monitoring and analysis tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk .
• Good understanding of performance testing methodologies, bottleneck identification, and performance optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services and Kubernetes is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute end-to-end performance testing strategies for enterprise applications.
• Gather and analyze non-functional requirements (NFRs) to define performance testing objectives.
• Develop and maintain performance test plans, scenarios, and LoadRunner scripts.
• Execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.
• Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for performance improvements.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.
• Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to resolve performance-related issues.
• Prepare detailed performance reports and communicate findings to technical and business stakeholders.
• Support continuous performance optimization initiatives and ensure applications meet defined performance and scalability standards.
