Salary: $45,500 - 73,500 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent mix of education and experience that supports the role
• 5–8+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
• Proven ability to design and execute test strategies for complex systems
• Advanced experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
• Practical experience with functional, integration, and regression testing
• Practical experience with defect tracking and lifecycle management
• Practical experience with test case design and execution
• Advanced experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
• Advanced experience with API testing, including Postman and REST services
• Advanced experience validating system integrations and data workflows
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or comparable platforms
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and lead QA efforts within delivery teams
• Proficiency with standard office technology, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or Certified Agile Tester are a plus
• Financial services or credit union experience is preferred but not required

• We lead defect triage and partner with engineering teams to resolve issues
• We validate defect fixes and confirm production readiness
• We create, maintain, and expand automated test suites where appropriate
• We identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and test coverage
• We integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery
• We promote shift-left testing practices to detect defects earlier
• We perform API testing using tools such as Postman
• We validate integrations across platforms, vendors, and internal systems
• We conduct data validation testing to confirm accuracy and integrity across systems
• We support testing of complex financial and transactional workflows
• We participate in Agile ceremonies as needed
• We collaborate with software engineers, Technical Product Managers, and business stakeholders to refine requirements and acceptance criteria
• We ensure user stories and acceptance criteria are testable
• We provide input on backlog prioritization based on quality risk
• We track and report quality metrics such as defect trends, test coverage, and release quality
• We provide recommendations to improve product quality and team performance
• We identify test coverage gaps and recommend enhancements
• We drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and standards
• We validate that solutions meet business requirements and member expectations
• We support and guide user acceptance testing efforts
• We ensure solutions are production-ready, stable, and aligned with quality standards
• We evaluate user experience and recommend improvements where appropriate
• We ensure compliance with internal quality standards and development practices
• We support compliance with federal regulations, including BSA and OFAC
• We incorporate compliance considerations into test strategy and execution
• We mentor and guide junior QA analysts
• We assist with onboarding and training new QA team members
• We support cross-team QA initiatives and standards alignment
• We provide backup support for team members when needed
• We perform other duties as assigned
