Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations ensuring top-quality service and efficiency
• Recruit, train, and coach a diverse and enthusiastic team
• Maintain high standards in food preparation, safety, and cleanliness
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to create innovative menu offerings that enhance the dining experience
• Manage inventory, ordering, and weekly scheduling
• Manage staff performance through effective team management, training, and development
• Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of quality and safety
• Oversee cash management and POS transactions with Micros POS systems
• Foster a respectful, positive team culture with open communication
• Drive business growth by meeting financial targets and enhancing sales

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 3 years’ proven experience in restaurant management or similar roles
• Strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations
• Familiarity with Micros POS systems preferred
• Excellent leadership, customer service, and communication skills
• Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance
• Barista or hospitality experience is a plus but not required

Pay: CA$23.00 - CA$26.00 per hour

The company was founded in 1964 in Hamilton, Ontario, by Canadian hockey players Tim Horton and Jim Charade, after an initial venture in hamburger restaurants. In 1967, Horton partnered with investor Ron Joyce, who assumed control over operations after Horton died in 1974. Joyce expanded the chain into a multi-billion dollar franchise. Charade left the organization in 1966 and briefly returned in 1970 and 1993 through 1996.
