Job Description

Salary: $85,000 - 125,000 per year Requirements:

  • We are looking for a senior-level software developer with at least 3 years of professional development experience.
  • We need strong hands-on expertise in C# and the Microsoft .NET platform.
  • We require substantial experience building ASP.NET web applications.
  • Experience maintaining or modernizing ASP.NET Web Forms applications is important.
  • We expect experience with Blazor, or the ability to become productive with it quickly.
  • Strong Microsoft SQL Server development skills are required.
  • We need experience designing and consuming REST APIs and web services.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern browser-based development is needed.
  • Experience deploying and supporting applications on IIS is required.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills are essential.
  • You should be able to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and provide the required supporting documentation.
  • Preferred experience includes DevExpress ASP.NET or Blazor components.
  • Preferred experience also includes Entity Framework or another .NET data-access framework.
  • Azure hosting, storage, monitoring, or related services experience is a plus.
  • Additional preferred experience includes Windows services, background processing, messaging, or scheduled jobs.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Graph, Outlook, SharePoint, and Office integrations is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of authentication, authorization, Active Directory, OAuth, and certificates is desirable.
  • Experience building software for law firms or other document-heavy professional services industries is preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • We develop, maintain, and enhance applications using C#, ASP.NET Web Forms, Blazor, React, and DevExpress.
  • We support the gradual modernization of existing Web Forms functionality using Blazor and newer .NET technologies.
  • We design and build user interfaces, business logic, background processes, and database functionality.
  • We create and maintain REST APIs and third-party integrations.
  • We design and optimize Microsoft SQL Server tables, queries, stored procedures, indexes, and data-access workflows.
  • We troubleshoot application, database, performance, security, and integration issues.
  • We deploy and support applications running on Microsoft IIS and Azure.
  • We review existing code and recommend improvements to performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
  • We translate business and legal-industry needs into technical designs and working software.
  • We participate in requirements review, technical planning, testing, release management, and production support.
  • We collaborate with product management, quality assurance, implementation, support, and other developers.
  • We document application architecture, integrations, deployment procedures, and key development decisions.
  • We mentor other developers and provide technical leadership when needed.
  • We are looking for someone comfortable developing new features, maintaining established software, resolving production issues, and improving database performance.
